HomeXero setup and support
Xero, set up once and set up properly
We are a Xero Gold Certified Partner and an IMDA accredited InvoiceNow ready solution provider. That means we build the file around how your business actually bills, not around a default template.
Set up once, running for years
Most Xero problems trace back to the first week. A chart of accounts nobody thought about, GST rates left on the defaults, bank feeds half connected.
We set it up the way a Singapore company actually files, migrate your history so the comparatives work, then sit with your team until they can run it without us.

Most Xero problems start in the first week
A chart of accounts copied from a template, tax rates left at the default, bank feeds half connected. None of it hurts on day one. It hurts at year end, when the reports do not agree with the bank and somebody has to unpick twelve months of coding.
- Chart of accounts built for your business. Enough detail to see what makes money, not so much that nobody codes consistently.
- Bank feeds and reconciliation rules. Recurring transactions match themselves, so reconciling becomes a short weekly job.
- GST tax rates. Configured correctly from the start, including zero rated and out of scope supplies, which is where most errors hide.
- Opening balances that tie. Migrated and agreed to your last set of accounts, so the first report you run is trustworthy.
- Users and permissions. Your team sees what they need. Nobody has more access than the job requires.
The reports stop being a mystery
Cloud accounting is only useful if somebody keeps it clean. Once it is clean, these are the questions you can answer on a Tuesday afternoon.
Where the money went
Profit and loss by month, by project or by department, with last year beside it. Most owners find one cost line they did not expect within the first hour.
Who owes you and for how long
Receivables ageing, so chasing is based on the list rather than on whoever comes to mind. Late payment is the most common cash problem we see, and the easiest to fix.
What the GST return will say
Tracked as you go instead of reconstructed at quarter end. When the return is due, the numbers are already there and the supporting records are attached.
Moving from a spreadsheet or another system
-
We agree a cut-over date
Usually the start of a financial year or a GST quarter. Cutting over mid quarter is possible but it doubles the reconciliation work.
-
Balances come across and get agreed
Opening balances are tied back to your last accounts or trial balance. If they do not agree, we find out why before we go live rather than after.
-
Feeds, rates and apps connected
Bank feeds, GST rates, invoice templates and whichever apps you already use for payments, expenses or stock.
-
Your team gets trained on your file
Not a generic demo. We walk through your accounts, your invoice layout and your codes, and leave a short written guide behind.
Already on Xero and not sure it is right?
We will review the file, tell you what is misconfigured and what it takes to fix. Most reviews take under an hour.
