Bookkeeping sits inside Complete

S$290 a month buys the Complete package, and monthly bookkeeping on Xero is one line inside it. This page is direct about what that covers and what takes a company past it.

S$290 buys the whole package Monthly bookkeeping on Xero Management accounts in 10 working days
How the fee works

What S$290 a month is paying for

There is no separate bookkeeping line on our price list. S$290 a month, or S$2,958 a year, is the Complete package, which carries the secretarial work, the tax filings and the monthly books in one engagement.

Buying compliance in pieces usually costs more than buying it whole. The person closing your books and the person filing your return end up being different people, asking you the same questions twice and reconciling each other's work at year end.

What moves the price

What takes a company above S$290

The package price assumes ordinary volume and records that arrive in a usable state. Volume and mess are the two things that change it, and volume is the one worth counting before you sign anything.

Transaction volume

This is the main one. A company issuing a handful of invoices against one bank account is a different job from one running hundreds of card transactions across three currencies. Volume is counted at quoting time rather than discovered in month four.

The state your records arrive in

Bank feeds connected to Xero with receipts attached reconcile quickly. Paying a supplier from a personal card because it was quicker feels harmless, and multiplied across a year it has your accountant reconstructing your life from a credit card statement.

GST registration

Registration becomes compulsory once taxable turnover passes S$1 million over a 12 month period, or as soon as you reasonably expect it will. Quarterly F5 filing sits inside Complete, and the input tax checking behind it grows with the number of supplier invoices.

Currencies and extra entities

Sales in three currencies, an overseas subsidiary or intercompany balances create work a single entity billing in Singapore dollars never generates. Currency translation and consolidation are quoted on top of the package, with the reason stated.

Prices exclude GST. S$290 a month is the Complete package rather than a standalone bookkeeping fee. Catch up work on earlier periods is quoted separately before it begins.

Common questions

What founders ask about bookkeeping fees

Is bookkeeping sold on its own?

No, and the distinction matters. The Complete package includes the bookkeeping, the management accounts, GST filing, payroll for up to five staff and everything in Comply. Treating it as a bookkeeping rate and comparing it against a bookkeeping-only quote gives you the wrong answer.

My company is dormant. Do I still need Complete?

You should not. A company with no transactions has almost no bookkeeping, and the Comply package covers what a dormant company still owes, which is the secretary, the registered office, the annual return and the tax filings. Ask for Comply instead.

Which accounting software do you work on?

Xero. The books are kept there, bank feeds are connected during setup and you keep your own login, so the records are yours whatever happens to the relationship. If you are already on Xero, moving the file across is simpler than starting again.

My books are two years behind. What does that cost?

It is quoted separately from the monthly fee, because catch up work is a different job. The price depends on how many periods are open, whether the bank statements and invoices exist, and whether a tax return has already gone in using figures that now look wrong.

When do I have to register for GST?

Once taxable turnover passes S$1 million over a 12 month period, or as soon as you reasonably expect it will. The second half catches people out. Signing a contract that takes you over the line starts the clock, which is why the books need to be current rather than reconstructed in March.

Send us one month of transactions

The quickest route to an accurate figure is a look at one recent month. Send a bank statement and a rough invoice count, and we will tell you whether S$290 holds for your company or not.
